Green Market happens on the corner of Walnut and Cedar Streets in Dunnellon’s Historic Village as local farmers, fishermen and bakers show up to sell their wares. In addition to produce and baked goods you’ll sometimes find local honey and jellies, worm castings (natural fertilizer for your lawn), beautiful plants, homemade soaps, lotions, body butter, candles & scrubs. Also organic pet treats and hot food (ribs, green beans and collard greens, fresh baked pies) to go.
Now through May 15 one of our seafood vendors is offering stone crab claws in addition to their smoked mullet dips, low country boil and more. A new vendor, Snack Attack, just joined us Nov. 3 with locally made Bodicious Biscotti, gluten free baked veggie chips, Pappardelle’ Pasta and Muffaletta Olive Salad.
Fresh shelled pecans from Chiefland are “in the market” just in time for holiday baking.
