Air Fest Brings Planes, Cars & Cycles to Williston
A Recreational Fest & Fly Market at the Williston Airport will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Fest is sponsored by The City of Williston, Williston Area Chamber of Commerce, Shell Aviation, and Levy County Visitors Bureau. Fly in or drive in with the whole family for a fun filled day complete with food, drink, classic cars, motorcycles and experimental airplanes.
The Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows still have openings, call Mary at the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce at 352-528-5552 to enter your vehicle! Stearman plane rides will be available, as well as over 50 airplanes from EAA Chapter 1484 Experimental Aircraft.
A Business Expo featuring local businesses, their services and products will be on site. Free parking and only $2.00 admission. Transportation is available into Williston for those interested in exploring the town. The Williston Airport is located off State Road 121.
